Intricately beautiful desert rose cluster mineral rock / crystal specimen, also known as a selenite desert rose
With the formula CaSO4 * 2H20 , it is a very soft and delicate rock specimen that sort of resembles a rose flower with petals.
Desert roses form in dry and sandy areas as salty water evaporates. This one is from Mexico.
Excellent for display on a shelf, definitely not excellent as a pocket rock :)
