About Me

Wanderer, Jeep girl, and animal lover who's always chasing new adventures... and picking up weird rocks along the way.

I realized I had a rock problem when I was a kid. I'd stuff my pockets with stones I found in the neighborhood or at the park and bring them home to proudly show them off. In college, I studied journalism and geology, two ways to explore the world, in my head and in the Earth.

These days, you’ll usually find me out in the desert, exploring abandoned ghost towns, old mining roads, and wide open spaces, always on the lookout for a cool rock or a good story.

I combine those passions through my shop and blog, where I share unique rock and mineral finds, stories and geologic info behind the pieces in my collection, and reflections on rocks in everyday life and my adventures. Each piece in my shop has been carefully chosen, designed, crafted, or inspired by nature’s beauty (and a little weird personality!)
